Dark Venture: Battle of the Ancients – Kings and Heroes

The KINGS and HEROES expansion adds the KINGSGUARD faction and additional HEROES to the DARK VENTURE: BATTLE of the ANCIENTS Core game.

The KINGSGUARD utilize their own deck of ITEM CARDS, an armory of weapons, that are equipped to their soldiers. Their BLOODSMEN units are very strong and have an ability that allows them to modify their attack rolls. Their HUNTSMEN units can be equipped with bows that provide them with ranged attacks.

Each included HERO is their own single-unit-faction. A hero-controlling player has a 'hero dashboard card' to track the progress of their hero and a single unit on the map. Each hero has powerful special skills that are unlocked as HERO POINTS are earned, when specific objectives are met.

This expansion also includes AUTO ENEMY decks for the Kingsguard faction and for Heroes; the FOREGONE KING’S CASTLE map; a SCENARIO book that includes an ADVENTURE SCENARIO (a branching, replayable, open-world story); additional ITEM and ACTION cards to add to the game, and much more.
